Well, it finally happened. Despite the fact that I have
a gazillion trillion quite a few socks on the needles, I cracked and cast on Toreador. And not being content to knit just a sock, I had to tweak an established stitch pattern (normally, I don't like to think that much). Meet Interesting Path.

(OK, so not all that much extra thinking was involved.)
I'm very pleased with how my tweaking is playing out. For those of you who are curious, the pattern I tweaked was
Winding Trail I felt it might be too meshy for my taste.

Wow, way to go! I am not sure I could tweak a pattern...looks great so far!
I like the winding trail, too. Would you knit the purl rows if you are knitting in the round? I like the way your "interesting path" shows off the colors in the yarn.

Donna Lee - The pattern is written for flat knitting, so the rows where you would purl, would be knitted rounds on a sock.
