I'm very pleased with how my tweaking is playing out. For those of you who are curious, the pattern I tweaked was Winding Trail I felt it might be too meshy for my taste.

Blast from the Past
Well, it finally happened. Despite the fact that I have a gazillion trillion quite a few socks on the needles, I cracked and cast on Toreador. And not being content to knit just a sock, I had to tweak an established stitch pattern (normally, I don't like to think that much). Meet Interesting Path.

Wow, way to go! I am not sure I could tweak a pattern...looks great so far!
I like the winding trail, too. Would you knit the purl rows if you are knitting in the round? I like the way your "interesting path" shows off the colors in the yarn.

Donna Lee - The pattern is written for flat knitting, so the rows where you would purl, would be knitted rounds on a sock.
