December's Inspiration - Georgia O'Keefe

Oh gosh, you guys know me too well...LOL! Of course I'm dieing to just blurt it out...and here it is! I haven't decided which painting to go with but each one is amazing in its own way. I don't know what else to say but wow on these paintings. So nice to be able to choose a female artist too. What do you guys think? I could even combine some colours from both too. So lovely!

That's so amazing Roxanne... I was going to suggest Ms. O'Keefe because they are doing an exhibit right now at the Vancouver Art Gallery (I live there)... cool! I vote "hell yeah"!

Let your imagination go and run with it. When my husband looked at the paintings, he thought the black, grey, white one would make an interesting contrast to all of the colorful yarn you've done so far. I think you could easily mix the two and come up with something spectacular.

I love O'Keeffe! Now I'm really eager for the yarn. I think either would be beautiful, but the one on the right appeals to me a little more because of the pale pink, which would modulate into the greys and pale taupe...... But I won't be unhappy no matter what!
