This piece of work spoke to me! Although Heade isn't as well known as Monet or Van Gogh or some of the other famous artists, I thought it'd be nice to be inspired by the colours of a painting that is really gorgeous. I'm looking forward to painting these colours onto yarn...aren't they lovely? The painting is called The Magnolia Flower.

June's Inspiration - Martin Heade
This piece of work spoke to me! Although Heade isn't as well known as Monet or Van Gogh or some of the other famous artists, I thought it'd be nice to be inspired by the colours of a painting that is really gorgeous.
