August is almost a week over (where does the time go?!) so let's get started on planning for September! Now is your chance to leave a comment and suggest a piece of art you'd like to see as our inspiration for colours in September.
Suggestions will be taken until Friday, August 10, 2007 and shortly following a poll will be posted for everyone to vote and choose their favourite(s). Majority will win!
Comment away everyone - we had some fabulous suggestions in the comments already when this idea was brought up before.

Balthus - Nude before a mirror
I think the colors would be amazing -
Klimt- The Kiss
I also love Klimt -- particularly the Portrait of Emilie Floge.
Frida Kahlo--I love Self-Portrait with Monkey, but any of her paintings would be wonderful inspiration.
I was going to suggest Monet's Waterlilies because of the greens and blues but the golds in Klimt's The Kiss would be lovely, too.
I nominate Impression:Sunrise by Claude Monet 1873. Nice fall colors
I nominate Starry Night by Van Gogh
I nominate Starry Night by Van Gogh
I'm going to suggest Claude Monet's Garden at Giverney or Venice Twilight.
The Lacemaker by Vermeer. I particularly like the description at this site; it reminds me of knitters.
I'm with Loren--Starry Night would be awesome!
Oh yes! I was also thinking of "Starry Night" Couldn't you see the gorgeous colors now?
Bonne in SC
Oh, everyone has good ideas so far! I was thinking Starry Night, too, though.
